Central Modern Flat in Southampton, Sleeps 5, Free Off-Road Parking, Close to Hospital, Cruise terminal and Centre, Great for contractors, friends & famili

Very clean, very convenient for Hospital visit

Very clean but could do with a little updating

Spotlessly clean. Had everything we needed. Location was ideal, nice and quiet but only a 3 minute walk to Shirley High Street where there's loads of shops and cafes. Rooms were light and airy. Didn't meet the hosts in person but they were only a call away if needed. A home from home for us as we had to stay a few days for a family funeral.

Nothing. Just missed having a TV in my bedroom but that's just my preference.

I did like the location.

Perfect accommodation for me, my partner, and 3 kids. The beds were comfy, and the whole place was clean and tidy. Very cosy and the owners were also lovely

The only thing is that it's about a 30 min walk from Southampton centre, but that's clearly written in the booking, so if you want to be closer, this might not be for you.

The location of the property was ideal due to it being a very short drive away from the centre of Southampton.

The flat was very minimal and wasn't anything like that was advertised in the photos. The flat had many many issues such as no drop kerb to get onto the driveway, the oven door was broken which later led to the oven breaking altogether, the airfryer was the same and again later needed replacing, the tap was unfortunately not good and sprung a leak and the boiler broke which left us with no heating or hot water. The seal by the front door was broken, and due to the bad weather, the cold was getting in, as was the rain, which led to dampness. The flooring/carpet was not fitted correctly all over the property, which led to the tacs coming through on the stairs, which was very uncomfortable when we walked on them. The carpert through the rest of the property was not fitted correctly, so when we hoovered, the carpet lifted, so we had to stop as we didn't want to cause any damage. There was no storage available as advertised in the photos, and as we were staying for a long period of time, we had to live out of our suitcases. Some of the issues were dealt with promptly by the owners when brought to their attention, such as the tap, oven, and airfyer. The overall stay was very poor, and I wouldn't recommend this property for a long stays.
