TENERIFE Olympia Apart Hotel-Playa de las Americas. Balcony, sea view & pool

Everything you could need for a self catering holiday was available in the apartment, even beach towels for us to use, the property was located within walking distance to everything but far enough away that it was peaceful from the crowds, the lady who owns the apartment couldn’t have been more accommodating, would recommend to all, excellent value for money. Would stay again in a heart beat.

The only small thing I would have preferred was having another set of keys, but that’s only because my daughters wanted to go off and do their own thing sometimes, so was a bit stressful having to arrange to meet up to get in again and who would take the keys.

The 5 hour wait to book in after letting them know via message what time I would be arriving. The fact there was no water in the toilet to be able to flush it. Being asked to pay more to move to another hotel.

From the moment I arrived I knew I was in a prime location. Jenni met me as planned.She is a very sincere, lovely person to deal with.The room was very comfortable with all I needed. The view over the sea was a nice bonus. Lovely bars & restaurants all around me. Beach less than 5 mins. Lovely beach with Veronica’s bar on the front for which I ate most of my food , tapas, drinks coffee ect. All great quality & lovely staff too. Casino on the front if you like that sort of thing. Peaceful when returning to my room at night. For enhanced nightlife Only 12 mins walk where I used Irish bars , Karaoke,dancing entertainment lots of places to chose from. Still a very nice atmosphere without the undesirable types further afield.Main bus terminal right outside the apartment to go all over the island. It’s a perfect place for so many reasons.Very relaxed around the pool. I prefer the beach as I enjoyed lunch looking out over the sea eating olives , bread,Alioli With a pint of San Migal . I would return here without a shadow of a doubt.

Great location. Lovely, clean little apartment with all the right facilities. Very pleasant hostess, loved the balcony and pool. Easy and great all round.

The host jenny was very good at responding to questions. The apartment was very clean and had everything you needed. Very good location and quiet. The bus station is just behind, so it's really easy to get around. Will definitely book again 😊

The pool was ice cold🙈 and unbearable even after being in the sun all day🤣, and there were no cushions for the sun lounges, which made it very uncomfortable to lounge around the pool for the day that was the only down side.

Closed to the beach The owner was very nice. This apartment had potential to be so much better with a little more investment. 1.New mattresses(better ones) on both beds 2.Install fans in the ceiling instead of that small fan or put AC as it is advertised 3.make 2-3 sets of keys so people can do what they want. 4. Have a bus plan in the room , the bus station is literally next door( would bring value to the place not to have to go there for info.

It is advertised on booking.com with AC but it has no AC just a small standing electrical fan. When i asked about the ac , the answer was : tenerife dont have alot of apartment with ac… not really what i was looking as an answer. This apartment is in a building were many private owners have there home and there for it is very noisy at night . The kids downstairs smoked weed every night and morning (i dont care) but when the smell rises up to the room it is not pleasant, had no choice to keep the balcony door open with the heat! The fact that we only had 1 set of keys for the pool, outdoor and main door was really bad. The beds were very bad.. the mattress is the thinnest you are going to get.
