Beds were comfy and clean. There are some good restaurants within 10 to 15 minutes walk up the high street.

The very poor cleanliness of the flat and communal areas were the same. There was wallpaper hanging from the ceiling in the single room, bins were dirty, stains on walls, paintwork was dirty and needed maintenance, cooker and fridge was dirty but counter tops were tidy. There were dead flies on my floor that hadn’t been hoovered up and appeared to have been there a while. I have discussed this review with June prior to writing it and she said the flat was due for a deep clean and that it is reasonably priced. While I agree that it does appear to be reasonably priced compared to other apartments, I cannot accept that it should be acceptable for it to be as dirty as it was. I didn’t contact the host to complain when we arrived (check in is 4pm) we were only there one night and the levels of cleanliness could not have been cleaned quickly.

Location was good for train station, food shops, great Italian Cafe which serves the best coffee in Falkirk Comfortable rooms and beds.
