2 Bed Courtyard Apartment at Rockfield House Kells in Meath - Short Term Let

Property is a nice hidden gem amoungst old world setting. Very spacious with large rooms throughout. Nice modern bathroom.

Unusual find. Converted outhouse. Lovely open fire. Stumbled across the owners who gave us a really nice welcome like we were family visiting. Coffee and treats which was lovely as the shop is 2km or so away. We did the "girly" walk nearby. 5km loop and lovely to start the day.

Shower maybe could be better and a fan heater for bathroom would be good as its quite large and hard to heat. Perhaps a little shoe shelf at the door downstairs would encourage guests to take off shoes - being on a farm, we were worried about destroying the cream carpet, but maybe not everyone would think about this.

The apartment was beautiful. It was a very unique place with loads of history. The beds were super comfy and the bedding lovely and fresh. Everything that you would need for a self catering stay is provided. The owner had provided a much welcome pack so we didn’t need to rush off to find a shop. This was such a lovely gesture. Thank you. We even had the pleasure of the two peacocks wandering around the courtyard one of the days of our stay.

Could do with a few lights around the courtyard, as we didn’t arrive until after dark, it was a bit hard to find our way.

Spacious and very quiet apartment. Some essentials and treats left as well which was very much appreciated

The staff welcomed me and my service dog. They told me about the History of the Rockfield House and were delighted to have us. The serenity and peacefulness of the grounds were exactly what we needed. I loved the big comfy bed, the large bath, the old fashioned bath tub, and most of all the livingroom and all its grandeur and history. It was absolutely marvelous.

Staff were lovely and they left out some nice stuff for breakfast. What they are doing up there is really interesting. Angela even dropped us to our wedding. Sound out.

Not much more to be honest. It was a little far out for us but it was worth it.
