Super Central 2 Bedroom Flat I Next to Shopping Center & Brighton Beach

The owner didnt respond and no check in instructions were provided m. We were stranded for an hour at the property

Fantastic location. Right by the city centre 5mins walk to the beach. Cosy well equipped flat.

The good things were irrelevant, because the property was unbearable. We left straight away and are trying to get a refund.

The flat we were given was different to the photos. The owner was unresponsive. There was no ventilation. The bedroom windows don't open. On a moderately warm night, it was unbearable. There are very bright all-night lights from the mall outside the bedroom windows, and the blinds don't work.

Good floor space like good size bedrooms and bathroom and veranda. Enough windows to open and airflow because it it on the roof top. It has sea view. They have cable TV like Netflix and an open planned kitchen and living room space.

We have trouble finding this property. I received email and given me 2 different addresses that made me confused and it was a hot summer day . First time we arrived, we struggled to open the outside building door because the keyhole was just rotating and rotating until I found out the trick on how to open the door. You have to pull the door outwards. The main bathroom door lock was unable to lock, one of the bed is broken and if you are not able to climb up on so many stairs don’t take this property because it is on the top floors. It doesn’t have a lift. Especially, if you have plenty of things to carry like your luggages or even your food shopping, you will struggle. The floor in the living room was dusty.

Good location, very central to town and close to seafront. Plenty of space in the apartment.

Location was slightly noisy as it was in a shopping arcade. Noise from workers before 8am.

Turned up to a totally different flat than the one advertised. Spoke to the owner and asked for the flat I booked but he said ‘you can have a refund and go’ one window in the property it was very stuffy. Not enough towels. No mugs, only 4 plates cutlery when booked for 6 people, no bedding

The location is amazing as its next to the shopping centre in the centre of Brighton, and about 5 minutes walk to the sea front. Even though it is central, the property is relatively quiet and feels secure. The property was really clean but not quite finished!! For example the kitchen has a kettle, toaster, crockery, cutlery and pans, cleaning equipment but no tea and coffee and no tea towels. The bathroom is finished to a high standard but has no bath mats. Again, the bedrooms are finished to a high standard but has no wardrobes.

Trying to get into the property. I arrived at the property and the key wasn't in the key box, I phoned and left messages on the number provided. Eventually after 2 hours I WhatsApped the host, received an immediate response and he came to let me in the property and give me a key. Lesson learned: WhatsApp the host do not phone him!
