Chapel Street 42B First floor 1-bedroom apartment, Aberdeen city center

The location of the apartment was excellent - within walking distance of city centre, supermarket & restaurants. There was plenty of space.

We couldn’t get the stovetop to work & asked for help but didn’t hear back. The bed was very soft & needs to be replaced.

The host was extremely helpful, responsive, and courteous throughout my visit. The apartment is in an excellent location, very convenient and easy to access. It was clean, well-equipped, and perfect for an overnight stay. I truly appreciated the warm hospitality and would definitely recommend it!

I have no negative points to mention — everything went smoothly.

Clean & central. Good shower. DVD player.

Kitchen utensils badly need to be replaced. Also the pillows. Extremely noisy from street on Saturday night - nightclub & kebab shops nearby.

The location was really convenient for what we wanted

One side of the bed seemed to be broken and very noisy to any movement.

The apartment is situated in a great part of the city. Everything that we needed was in reasonable walking distance

I think that the host would do well to reinvest in the property, maybe simple things as having a full set of matching cutlery, utensils that aren't broken(the corkscrew was in 3 broken bits) and also crockery that matched. Everything was all different mix matched cutlery which was very sparse, only 2 knives and 2 tea spoons so was constantly having to wash them and the plates were the same. Very little expense would be needed to rectify this! Also couldn't use the wardrobe in the bedroom as there was wet towels and bedding supposedly drying in it? Strange🤔

The place smells of cigarettes. The washing machine full of laundry. No toilet paper 🥹

The property was freezing upon our arrival. Luckily my husband is handy and could get the heating working (radiators were not on at all). There was a lot of hair from prior guests or the cleaning staff. The bed is like a brick, as are the pillows. And the apartment smelled very strongly of cigarettes.

The location is superb! Small but cozy apartment, good and responsive host. Ideal for a stay in Aberdeen.

At least one of the TV’s could be a smart tv, but it’s not a big deal. Also needs more cutlery and wine glasses.
