WATCH CHANGING OF THE GUARD AND WALK TO THE CASTLE! 2 Bedroom Apartment

Fantastic location, walking distance to everything Windsor has to offer. Couldn’t ask for more.

Central location, clean and comfortable beds. Was great to have use of a washing machine and drier after eleven days travelling

Much closer to Heathrow than I imagined. The surrounding area and being in Windsor, near to Eton etc really a nice English experience. Lots of lovely places to eat in the neighbourhood. The 703 bus to Heathrow T 5 is right outside the door - could not be handier and only took about 40 minutes door to door. This location could work for many airport stop overs and Windsor is a lot more pleasant than an Airport Hotel. Host was helpful and attentive.

We didn't manage to figure out heating and I felt chilly. Shower involves shower head over bath and - although London area is expensive - for the price, I'd have expected a proper shower. This is my first experience booking an apartment through booking,com (usually use hotels). I found it disconcerting to be sort of 'interviewed' by the host before the booking was confirmed. As I am busy with work and normally in a completely different time zone, telephone call as well as Booking.com was a task I could have done without! Parking quite odd. Booking.com says GBP9.50 a night, host wanted GBP20 and ultimately it turned out the parking proposed still ran the risk of separate parking costs... we just went with normal public parking in the end.

Great location. Clean. Spacious. Loved the laundry access.

Two flights off the ground level , only one key provided.

Good size and good amenities. Close to town centre so good access to restaurants, bars, cafes, shops and services.

It was very very warm and the thermostat didn’t seem to work. Had to open the windows to cool it down which meant road noise was disruptive. Front door was stiff and required slamming to shut which meant you wake everyone up when you go in and out of the property.

The apartment was clean and tidy and in a great location close to the castle. Facilities were good including dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer etc.

Shower was a little bit on the cold side

Location was perfect and apartment met our expectations

Parking could have been explained when booking, as we had a disabled person with us and the walk was quite far.

Location was great

The only things I would change is the mattress which need to be better quality.
