USGreat cabin and location. The Fire-Pit and Hot-Tub were great and the views were incredible!
Would have liked to have TV's in every bedroom and better pillows would have been nice. Also, it would be great if you bought a little better-quality toilet paper.

USwe enjoyed the quietness of the cabin and views. the road was decent getting up but if you come during snow or raining conditions, I'd suggest a 4x4 vehicle or all-wheeled drive. the beds were great at least in the upstairs bedroom where my wife and I slept.
The only issue we encountered was the drain line to the upstairs bathtub began to leak underneath onto the flooring near the kitchen.
USUSUSBig, comfortable, clean lodge! Beautiful views from living room & loft (some branches on the right tree could be taken down for better view from hot tub). Kitchen has EVERYTHING you'll need (perhaps bring salt & pepper). Comfortable beds, lots of hooks to hang your towels. A/C quiet and working well. No hair dryer on arrival, but a new one was promptly delivered within hours -> communication with hosts was quick and efficient! Location is superb, albeit slight traffic noise (which echoes in the mountains). The drive up to lodge is steep, but that is to be expected in the mountains ;) 4WD car is recommended. Yes, there are a few spider webs out of reach, and some black spots high on the bathroom ceiling - but this is a log home, and no one can reach this high up without using a tall ladder, plus some people don't use bathroom exhaust fans properly (turning off too soon after shower). Still one of the cleanest AirBnBs we have stayed at (I have high expectations) and would highly recommend to friends and family. The giant resin bees residing in the lumber outdoors are not aggressive or harmful to humans, we have spent a LOT of time outside and never felt attacked. In fact, they are quite entertaining to watch. You are right in the mountains and woods, so expect insects and creatures you usually don't see in the cities. Big plus: no mosquitoes anywhere. PS: Check out "The Chocolate Shoppe" in Bryson City for some really good ice cream :)

Location is terrible, more of a warning about how difficult it is to get there would’ve been nice. A serious wasp problem that was not handled at all while we stayed. Mold on the ceiling of the upstairs bathroom.
USThe pictures of Red Roof does NO justice!!! It is absolutely breath taking with the views and the hot tub was icing on the cake
