Great location and lovely beds

Nothing, it was perfect

I purposely chose self-catering as it feels more like a home from home break for all of us. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances and cleverly fits half sized dishwasher, washing machine, fridge etc into a cottage-sized space. There were plenty of cupboards too if you did want to store your own provisions. If you don't, there are so many options in Olney for eating out. We tended to sort our own breakfast/lunch out (plenty of local/express supermarkets nearby) and eat out in the evenings.

I can't actually think of anything much to be honest. There is even a car space available right next to the cottage if you cannot find a space on the High Street...... which is free anyway on a 1st come 1st served basis. It may be that having twin beds rather than another double bed in the 2nd bedroom may increase flexibility for potential customers, depending on the dynamics of the party or group. But I did know when I booked it that it was 2 double beds so this is definitely just an observation not a criticism.

No collection bins out side for general waste

Everything ! Lovely hidden gem right off the High Street, lovely kitchen with everything you need . Clean modern bathroom, bedrooms spacious and comfortable lounge with dining table .

Nothing

Lovely property uniquely away from it all but in the centre too. We loved our stay in this beautiful cottage in a lovely quiet location within strolling distance of pubs, restaurants and shops.

Having to leave it

Olney is a small market town, clean and well kept. The house is set back from the main road, and is incredibly quiet, considering how close we were to all the amenities. The cottage is old, quirky and has a lovely log burner.

Beds good but not super firm, which is only our preference obviously

The cottage was booked for my son and family who came over to visit me from Belgium. It was absoliutely superb, beautifully decorated and very central to supermarkets and restaurants. They really enjoyed staying there and will certainly come again. Just one thing that would have improved their stay, the fact that it would have been better to have twin beds in the second bedroom as both children had to share a double bed which didn't always work. But reallhy a wonderful place to stay and the host was very kind and helpful when I contacted him.
