It's a magical place, we felt enchanted by how much character the place has. We enjoyed very much playing music in the vintage music room, chatting with the lovely lady of the house and her dog, and strolling in the neighbourhood.

We didn't know the hot tub in the public area was not open at this time. However we enjoyed a bath in out private bathroom, which was comfortable as well.

Really cool building, definitely feels like the description with the 17th century room. It has been refurbished with a few things added, new paint and Google home stuff + TV etc. The common room was impressive with fun furniture. The kitchenette in the room had a retro-looking kettle, microwave, coffee machine, mini fridge, all working. Stocked with glasses, cups, plates, cutlery, bottle opener, and a little snack. Space for some food storage. All clean. Bathroom was spacious with beautiful old tiles, old-syle mirror and shower head. Comes with shampoo, conditioner, soap. The bedroom was very comfy and spacious, the mattress was amazing and had clean sheets. The check-in was simple, no reception even, we were just sent a code for the door through booking.com messaging. Everything was communicated through here, and we only bumped into the cleaning lady during our stay.

The only thing that we really noticed that was weird was the tax. They ask for tax in cash to be left on the table or with the staff, €2 per person per night, but in the booking.com invoice, there was already a local tax charge of the same amount. The shower will run out of hot water if you take too long, not too much of an issue, not a complaint either, just something to keep in mind when you're here. The place is old, and is renovated nicely so as to keep the old style, but some things like the door to the terrace, were not airtight, and you could hear a bit of noise from the courtyard. Other reviewers have mentioned this, we didn't mind because you are booking an older place after all, and there is another door to close the bedroom so it doesn't affect anything. Again, this is not a complaint, only a note in case your preference is different.
