Super comfortable bed

Lovely size bedrooms and ensuite

Very cold. Heating timer was controlled by the host. Small portable radiator took a long time warming up the room.

Settle Southampton was really comfortable and clean. 2 bathrooms was a bonus. The price is exceptional.

The parking is tricky and limited but there is street parking not too far away. There are minimal cooking facilities but this was not a problem for us.

Honestly don't know how to thank the hosts for such an amazing experience. Some of that is due to private reasons, but Matt couldn't do enough for us in our multiple stays at Settle. We were cold? He'd put the heating on. Wi-Fi was brilliant. Location excellent. Room size excellent. Bathroom awesome, shower was amazing. TV connects to the internet as well so Netflix is there. Obviously not a guarantee, but other people staying were also very friendly! WE ended up staying for around 30 nights in total, and as a thank you for our custom, the host even bought us a takeaway! Obviously don't expect that every stay, but what an excellent touch. I will never stay anywhere else in Southampton going forward.

Only microwave and air fryer made food choices difficult for the week. Bin in kitchen area was very small so I had to empty multiple times

Easy check in, 15 minutes walk from the station, handy for Shirley High Street, Bedford Place and city centre bus route.

Shelf above sink was so low, it was difficult to wash and brush teeth. Noise from room above.

Clean, quiet, comfortable room with clean attached shower room.

Sliding door to shower room was faulty and kept slipping off the rail. Chair was uncomfortable. Expected kitchenette facilities when I booked but given room only.

A short distance from my place of study

There was a leak in the ceiling and water dripping down. I was expecting a microwave which was not there.
