Rustic, Basic Cosy Alpine Hut, in the middle of the Mountains but near road & Railroad

Close to the start of our tramp the next day.

Peaceful, rustic and cosy. Just as what it says, middle of the mountains! Ideal getaway from the city or a half way stop point if you want somewhere to R&R from hikes. Nice place.

A cute cozy place with beautiful views and a great fireplace to keep you warm.

The fire was life changing. We had spent a night previously in a damp, cold, and smelly accommodation, so coming here was like a haven. Warm, dry, comfortable and PRIVATE!

I didn't read that I had to bring toilet paper, but that was my bad. Luckily we had tissues. We left them behind for the next guest.

Beautifully quiet, blissfully basic hut exactly as described. Warm comfy bed, all kitchen items, clean basic hot shower and toilet just outside. Fab little log burner with logs supplied warmed the cabin beautifully. Stunningly clear night skys, well worth popping outside to look at the stars of its clear! Even the train going past was nowhere near so noisy as I had expected. Perfect minimalist escape.

Location and value for money was fantastic. Had a wonderful break with my partner and son. Thank you for having us.

Directions all correct, but still tricky to spot from one direction. Cone accurately placed but there are so many about!
