Rooftops - Quiet Cosy Pied-à-terre in the heart of Colchester

We loved the location really central to main street.

Needed to walk to a ncp carpark, no parking at the building

Location - in town centre, close to everything (within walking distance), friendly landlady, amenities. Spotless clean.

The apartment was situated in a perfect location for the purpose of the travel. It was beautifully designed, and clean. The apartment offered a range of facilities, and all single beds were super comfortable.

Unfortunately, the sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable. Due to this reason, my partner was unable to get any sleep.

Couldn't find the keybox very well in the dark, I think more descriptive information where the flat is would be a great help.

the place was nice and clean, the beds were comfortable and I liked the little extras like towels and hot water bottles provided.

the location. The block was very difficult to find and it was hard to follow the pictures provided when you don't know the area the photo provided of the actual entrance was different from what it actually looks like now which was why we couldnt find it.. I did contact the owner and was advised to ask passers by where it was which I did and nobody seemed to know therefore I was late attending the wedding which was the purpose of my visit. also the hallway light was not working, it had no bulb in it and there was an extremely noisy extractor fan in the bathroom so when someone went to the toilet in the night it would wake others up. Also there could be room for a double bed in the main bedroom rather than 2 singles.

Location is great as it is in the middle of town. When we arrived the flat was warm and cosy. We liked the option of board games and mini pool, also that nice sketch book of London. It was great to have toiletries and fresh towels!!!Clean apartment and affordable compared to other options when doing the booking.

It took a while to figure out where exactly the keys were stored, but we struggled due to rain and not following the guide via photos sent to us.

The apartment really exceeded my expectations: it was clean, spacious and had everything needed for a short or long stay. The extra details and attention such as a variety of teas, sops/toiletry, crisps, juice, chocolate, salt, pepper, olive oil, and very well equipped kitchen. The location was perfect, right in the heart of Colchester and 5 minutes frm Colchester Town station. Best place I have stayed in in Colchester s far!

It was a little difficult to find the apartment building but once I managed, I had an amazing stay at Rooftops!

Modern, clean and very well equipped apartment in the heart of Colchester. So many extra touches. Comfy beds.

No negative comments to make.
