King Room at Machrimore

Location was great , lovely visitors guide and suggestions for places to visit / eat etc

Shower hasn’t much pressure but the hosts do warn you on arrival.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, warm, comfortable and well equipped. The location was perfect. The property was secluded but we were able to walk to all the places we wanted to visit. Having a parking space was very useful.

It was slightly annoying having to move a chair every time we wanted to use the cupboard. The light above the tea tray was broken or not connected and there was no main light in the room so it was not as bright as we would have liked it to be at times.

Very quiet location. Space to park. Good to have a fridge in the room. Also supplied with wine glasses, cutlery and plates if you wanted a takeaway.

Small bathroom.

Very good location. Easy to walk to centre.

Bathroom was pretty basic and poor shower.

Clean. Inviting. Provided everything you needed for a lovely break. The bed was comfy and the quilt heavy loved it. Near to a pub, shops and harbour. Spoke to the owner a couple of times as we struggled to find it as you call it coastal hidden gem, but that is not the property name. They were friendly and helpful. Would love to come back to be able to use the garden. Came as visiting Holkham Hall Christmas activities. Would highly recommend this property.

The water pressure for the shower is rubbish, BUT they do not hide this information, it is in their welcome guide.

Good location. Pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Nice and quiet.

Getting in and out onto the main road was a bit difficult at times.

It was a fantastic stay. The place was clean and the host was lovely. We got a tad cold so a heater was brought straight away and there was everything you would need in the room and the bathroom. Plenty of tea and coffee and mugs and milk and plates etc. as well as cutlery. The bed was really comfy and everything was easy to use like the TV and the shower etc. The shower was actually okay.

The facilities were great for our needs, and it was in a great position.

As the weather changed the windows were wet, and the curtains damp in the morning. We used the bathroom towel rail to dry
