Lovely situation with enough privacy and parking. Everyone was friendly, especially our host. It’s in a quiet, part of the countryside with few cars and so was very peaceful.

Nothing really, if I had to put something I could say perhaps the open loft area could have been curtained off but it wouldn’t stop us going again.

The cabin was in an excellent location. It was positioned in a beautiful spot offering fantastic views, peace, and a wonderful secluded spot at the rear of the cabin. The cabin was an amazing use of space, finished to a high standard and spotlessly clean. It was well equipped with lots of thoughtful touches. Jenny, our host was lovely. Very welcoming and informative but with a discrete presence.

There was nothing about the cabin that we didn't like.

Fabulous converted property, perfect for my wife, I and our Spaniel. Clean, warm and well equipped. Jenny (and Bracken) were great with quick and clear responses prior to our stay. Beautiful walks locally and a fabulous village pub, The Pheasant which is a 5 min walk away. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful setting in a lovely quiet village. Excellent access to Carlisle and surrounding areas. The bed was very comfy and the bedding smelt amazing They’d gone to great effort to provide lots of information about the area which was appreciated

We stayed 2 nights and we used the kitchen facilities. We could have done with an extra pan and a smaller frying pan to fit on the hob.and larger cups for a decent sized coffee in the morning ☕️

"Absolute heaven"

What an absolute hidden gem. From the second we arrived we felt relaxed. Excellent quality of bed, bedding and kitchen facilities. Spotlessly clean. Dog friendly. The view from the bed was picture postcard. We will definitely be back. Jenny and Bracken were very friendly and helpful. Lovely hosts .

There was nothing not to like. We just wished we could have stayed longer.
