Villa Lanterfant - luxury stay in nature - solar powered

Villa Lanterfant is absolutely beautiful! The photos don't even do it justice - we were completely blown away. Richard & Pamela have created such a beautiful home that has everything you could need and more. It was incredibly comfortable, the outdoor area is stunning and the location is fabulous - the estate is very safe and we did our own game drive and saw giraffes! Easy drive into town with so many shops and restaurants. The house is managed by a wonderful team & Werna was fabulous, so kind and friendly and there for anything we needed. We could not recommend this special place more!

Wunderschöne Villa mit toller Ausstattung und viel Platz, um sich wohlzufühlen.

De villa was zeer comfortabel en ruim genoeg voor zes personen. Keuken was heel compleet, we hebben heerlijk gekookt. Ook de locatie was top, Radisson hotel is vlakbij en daar goed gegeten maar ook Hoedspruit is dichtbij voor de boodschappen. We hebben als gezin met zes volwassenen genoten!

Een kleine opmerking: er waren maar drie ligstoelen voor een villa voor zes personen.

Absolutely faultless accommodation! Stunning lodge, they have thought of everything for a comfortable and luxurious stay. Les & Dianne were wonderful hosts, very friendly and informative, and helped us out with a very minor issue immediately! Richard & Pamela, the owners provided excellent information and were super friendly! Do not hesitate to book your next stay here, really bush luxury - we loved our daily walks around Zandspruit!

The villa is in a great, quiet, and safe location surrounded by greenery, with tasteful decor. The rooms are spacious, and the kitchen had everything we needed, making cooking easy. The patio offers stunning views of the mountains and a star-filled night sky—plus the occasional surprise visit from a kudu. The host was responsive and helped us organize several activities. A great option for a nature getaway—highly recommended.

The water temperature was more lukewarm than hot. This wasn’t an issue for us during our summer visit, but it’s worth keeping in mind if you’re visiting in cooler weather.

Beautiful, spacious house in excellent condition, a stone's throw from the centre and facilities of Hoedspruit, yet immersed in the wilderness with a beautiful view of the bush and mountains in the distance. The facilities are of excellent quality, nothing is missing. Richard and Pamela are extremely friendly hosts and Les provides a first class welcome service.

As the house is relatively close to the main road leading to Hoedpsruit, you can hear the traffic noise, at least in the morning during wintertime.
