The Cabin at Shambala offered a beautiful, restful atmosphere ideal for reading, writing, and walking. The cabin is clean, cozy, comfortable. The hosts were helpful and welcoming. I loved the views and walks and gentle atmosphere. Just lovely.

The cabin itself and the location are both gorgeous. The hosts were lovely and easy to communicate with. We loved the sauna and the log fire! This was a fantastic stay, exactly what we were looking for - an idyllic retreat in a beautiful part of the country.

The location was stunning and the cabin has been set out so beautifully. Helen and James gave us really clear directions to get there and were always at the end of the phone to help. We loved the mezzanine bed; it was so lovely waking up to the birds and the sun pouring in! And thankyou for the bread and biscuits / bits n bobs, that was really lovely. The Apricot jam was delish!

The cabin was cosy enough without feeling cramped. We had all the amenity's we needed paired with a wonderful view. The hosts were accommodating and kind and brought eggs, bread and milk on the first day. Wonderful people and a wonderful location.

"Magical stay"

Very comfortable and cozy cabin with stunning views. The kitchen is very well equipped. We really loved the fireplace. Perfect for digital detox. Very quiet. The walk from the cabin to Robin Hoods bay is really beautiful and not to hard. Highly recommended

It was hard to leave 😅 we wanted to stay longer... We had a very magical time.

If you are looking for night or 2 away to escape from the daily grind then it’s perfect,Sauna was great. At 6 foot 4 I’m probably just a bit too tall for a stay at the cabin again.
