Dust and hair build up on bed skirt. Had to call six times to get into lobby and unit. Stove top didn’t want to light and nobs weren’t fixed. Nails in floor board

Fantastic location - walkable to downtown arts district, farmers market, and lots of shops and restaurants. Complimentary coffee was nice!

The lights from the outlet mall are VERY bright - blackout curtains would be helpful for light sleepers. Also, would be nice to have more than 2 washcloths for a 4 night stay.

Location is good for going to the dunes. Michelle, the host, was responsive. The AC worked (though was not on when we arrived and it was hot).

When we arrived the studio was 78 degrees and the toilet was stopped up. If someone had just cleaned, how could the toilet not flush unless it was not cleaned? No where in the description does it say the unit is a second story with a long, narrow staircase (fine for us but not everyone hauling suitcases). The dishes were not clean, probably because the hosts require that their guests not only wash them but put them away before check-out. I assume the people who were there before us just put items in the cabinets without even rinsing them. Items were covered with sand. The porch table was filthy (truly). The blender was very dirty as was the inside of the refrigerator. There were visible cobwebs. Guests are also required to strip the bed. Why are we paying $150 for cleaning? We were given 3 of the smallest, thinnest bath towels for 2 adults for 3 nights. The mattress is like a waterbed, including the plastic cover with only a sheet over it. It was hot, noisy and the mattress is squishy. You can hear every car that goes by and it's a busy road, day and night. There's nowhere to put luggage except on the floor or a little couch at the end of the bed that's covered with a blanket (likely because it's as stained as the bar stools, but I didn't want to know). They should all be cleaned! There's no cable or other tv options unless you log into your personal Netflix. The shower has a really old shower head and trickles water. There's no deadbolt inside the unit for security and though the front door locks automatically, each apartment has to be locked when you leave. The bathroom door does not shut fully or lock. There are air fresheners everywhere and scented candles. When we unplugged them, the bathroom smelled moldy. There is only 1 beach chair and 2 small beach towels. I feel they've invested next to nothing. It is not worth what they are charging. We let the host know we were uncomfortable and left a day early (got $100 back).

Very quaint gorgeous home, clean & comfortable.

The property is in a sketchy area right near the ghetto. Although this was the case my gf and I still walked the streets late at night and right have any issues.

Easy access via security code for doors. Great location.

Better curtains or blinds to block more of the light coming in through the windows in the bedroom area. Parking wasn't bad until the last night when it was full. More parking or info on where to park if parking area is full would be helpful.

Excellent room with everything you might need during your stay. They even had beach towels and chairs. The house is older, but very well maintained and nicely decorated. The communication with the host was seamless. Michelle is a very responsible and accommodating host. The beach and local entertainment is literally within a few minutes. The Long Beach (a hidden treasure), with its extended public access section, is amazing! Thank you, Michelle, for a great stay! Yelena
