Hip, Cozy Cottage with a Fire Pit in Cleveland Park

Lovely location, nice and cozy

Very clean, great location, quiet neighborhood, and just minutes away from downtown, football stadium, and restaurants. The cottage was stocked with everything you may need. Thanks for having us!!

Honestly, there was nothing we didn't like about our stay.

The space is super pretty. Clean, interesting, lovely design, well stocked. Beds were comfy (though one requires climbing a ladder, which was not clear). Neighborhood was dense, but quiet. Short drive to downtown and lots of good dining. Off street parking made us feel safe.

Entrance somewhat hard to find (we arrived after dark) - and fitting car into the "driveway" was REALLY tight. I have a Prius and it barely fit. Key code did not work-so we had to wait till the host contacted us (they wew pretty quick and had a backup plan ready). We picked this place specifically for the hot tub (we were moving cross country and had just finished packing up the house, I had just had surgery a few days before as well ) - we were really looking forward to the hot tub. But the tub was cold, had the weirdest controls we had ever seen, and no instructions. We tried several things and only got the temp up to 90 (too cold for a soak in December). All the dishes were in the dishwasher (not on the shelves - so we didn't find them till we were about to leave). I would not normally comment on that, but with a $100 cleaning fee I do expect that sort of detail to be taken care of. One other thing - not necessarily bad - the bathtub is a painted water trough - very tall and very narrow - if you are disabled (like I was) or large, you will no be able to shower (it would not work for a bath at all).

I somehow didn’t realize that 2 of the 3 beds required climbing up a ladder. I could do it, but neither of my friends could. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this cottage to retired folks. Also, the downstairs gets a bit chilly,even with the fireplace heater going.

The cottage was adorable. And nicely decorated. Loved the outdoor firepit and unique bathtub. Bed were very comfortable. Loved that there was a guitar. Honestly, it's one of the reasons we booked it.

Needs better lighting around hot tub. Didn't have fire sticks for hot dogs or marshmallows.

Nice homely accomodation with everything to hand that you need. Clean and comfortable. We were able to walk into the town center, (if you are fit enough to walk 2 and a bit miles) Quiet and xlean neighbourhood.

It suited us well, so nothing concerned us
