"Lots of room in a well equiped and clean upper storey appartment made for a very enjoyable trip."

Spacious and generally well maintained property in a quiet area with good on street car parking, convenient for local shops and food, metro and buses. As well as being easy to access the town centre, coast and beaches, the metro also brings Newcastle city centre into easy reach, while the nearby West Park and slightly more distant Redhead Park are good for dog walking.

A few small maintainance issues need resolving; the front door and bathroom door both need adjusting to prevent them from jamming, and the handrails on both front and back stairs need to be more securely attached.

Good space and extremely comfortable beds. Well equipped kitchen. Quiet neighbours too. Very good

Bathroom was on first floor through the living space do if you have a shower you have to walk through the living room in a towel unless you take clothes in there too. Also the bathroom does not have an extractor so can feel very damp. Narrow kitchen so one cook really needs to be nominated

The house is in a brilliant location with free parking which was a huge bonus. The house was clean, the rooms are spacious, have loads of storage space and the beds are really comfortable

On arrival we found that one of the rooms had not been made up. Having booked this property over others that had less rooms due to needing the 5 bedrooms this was quite annoying, we had to go out and buy bedding so my daughter could use the bed. Although the house can sleep 9 people the living spaces are nowhere near enough for this number of people. There was 7 of us and we found ourselves having to seperate into bedrooms in the evenings just so that everybody could sit somewhere due to only having sofa seating space for 4/5 people max. Again the dining table sits 4 so 3 of us were without somewhere to sit for meals. There was not enough cutlery for the number of people we had, there was only 5 forks, again having to buy our own to use throughout the stay. The number of Mugs and bowls were also short of the number of people we had with us. The hot water is either very limited or very unpredictable. We had to wait quite a while for any hot water to wash the pots and when it did come it wasn’t very warm and didn’t last very long before going cold. The bath was the same making it impossible to have a bath at all, the shower wasnt much better. The washing machine door leaks and there are holes in the bathroom walls where the toilet is Plumbed in which just doesn’t look very nice. There are only 2 usable pans in the property as the rest provided are so rusty and dirty they are totally unusable, we had seen this on a previous review so hosts were obviously aware before our stay. The house in general just feels very cold and unhomely. There are no little touches we have had with other properties such as board games / local information leaflets. We would like to have been informed before booking that the property that it is not the best for people with mobility issues due to the stairs at the entrance to the house as we had an elderly person with us who struggles with stairs.

The property has very large rooms and is spacious throughout, was very happy with the high decorative standard and comfy beds, street was quiet but shops etc very close. Managed to get parked no problem at all and it was very close the Metro Train for our trip to Newcastle (about 20 mins direct) and beach was very close too, would stay here again

Nothing bad. This was fantastic accommodation
