Central location, comfy beds and spacious rooms.

When booking the property appears to have bathrooms with baths, flat 6 only had showers which was not what I expected given a couple of us were running the Edinburgh marathon. The main bedroom en-suite smelled badly of drains when we arrived which for the price we were paying should have been recognised and addressed prior to arrival. This was resolved after being reported with “chemicals put into the drains”. Expect noise given that the apartment is on one of the main tourist streets and St Giles cathedral bells sound on the hour, this didn’t wake me but some of my party heard it through the night. Make sure to look out for the email with the apartment info, it’s on a hyperlink. Last gripe is that the furniture in the lounge needs rearranging with the table in front of the window so you can take in the people watching views and replace to wall light bulbs so they are the same colour, looks tacky at present.

Great location.

There was no heating on day 1.-2. It was very cold . When we made contact with staff about this on day one they were reluctant to send a qualified technician . When we persisted on day 2 they sent an unqualified office staff member in the first instance and finally by midday of day 2 a tradesman arrived and the problem was resolved.

L'appartamento è molto bello, spazioso, pulito e ben tenuto in posizione ottimale in pieno centro davanti alla Cattedrale di St Giles. L'appartamento è dotato di tutto il necessario per cucinare e abbiamo gradito trovare bustine di the, caffè e biscotti, olio, sale, e bagno schiuma e sapone nella quantità più che necessaria. Il self check-in e check-out sono stati molto semplici ed è molto comodo l'accesso sia al cancello che alla porta di casa con un codice numerico. I contatti con l'host sono stati sempre veloci e puntuali. Sia per la posizione che per l'appartamento lo consiglio senza dubbio.

L'unica cosa che non ci è piaciuta è stata la difficoltà nell'aprire le finestre che sono un po' datate e una in particolare nella stanza che dava sull'interno era bloccata e non siamo mai riusciti ad aprirla e non c'è stato l'intervento promesso per la sistemazione. Ma a parte questo tutto è stato perfetto.

Location was very convenient.

Top floor apartment, even though I specifically asked and was told it would not be on the top floor. We were a group of senior citizens and the stairs were a serious issue for us. Also, the apartment shown when reserving is not the apartment you are guaranteed to be give. I felt deceived. I want to know EXACTLy what I anm paying for. Apartment needed some repairs and/or updates.
