Bright, Airy & Beautifully Decorated 3 Bedroom Home

We hired this property as we had a family funeral to attend in the area. It was lovely and clean and had been modernised to a high standard. There was a microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge freezer in the kitchen. The heating was on and it was lovely and warm and cosy.

There was no hand rail going up the stairs. Unfortunately our 91 year old mum had to crawl up the stairs and we had to help her down them. Unfortunately there wasn't a downstairs toilet so this was a problem for her. I wouldn't recommend for anyone with Aged parents or with mobility issues due to the stairs without any support.

Modern feel. Had all the basics needed for a two night stay for work.

Couldn’t work out how to get the heating on in the conservatory, so it was too cold to sit at the dining table. No instructions on how to use the TV. No mirror in the middle bedroom. Need to repair broken panels etc. in the kitchen as it looks shabby. Also needs a bit of general TLC, as a window in the main bedroom doesn’t close properly and a few things around the house need replacing. Kitchen could do with a few more items, including a cafetière or coffee machine. Outdoor bins were overflowing.

As advertised a lovely clean airy home. Close to the arena sports village which is where we needed to be. Hosts had good interaction with us. Excellent stay

Location ideal for us as we were visiting the Adrenalin Alley Skatepark in Corby.

Just a few suggestions really - the stairs could do with a banister (quite steep and a fall on the hard surface could be nasty), the neighbours were quite noisy on Mon night (lots of shouting) and I would maybe remove the key from the main bathroon as the lock is a but fiddly (one of our kids locked themself in for a brief period). But overall, great and would use again.
