Salt & Sun Apartments by Konnect, at Kaminaki Beach

Nothing as such. Only the closeness to the small pebble beach was a positive thing.

The apartment had close to zero ammenities. We were asked to buy the toilet paper seperately as well. No bathing gel,kitchen paper or others. There were ants in the kitchen and bathroom was smelling. The stay was not comfortable. The amount paid for the apartment was not at all justified given that both kitchen and bathrooms were not conducive enough for usage. Easily a good hotel could be booked instead. There was construction going on in the restaurant below so we enjoyed the drilling machines and iron cutting machines for 5 days. Even after coming so remote our vacation was ruined because of those aspects. The stay could be temporarily stopped if the owner know about such aspects as it really impacted us. We were with a toddler which again got impacted by all noises and uncomfortable stay. The cleaning lady at the restaurant below was nice and helped us arrange some toilet papers when we asked as the nearest super market was also 5-10minute drive. The path to the stay is also very narrow too and some skilled driver should drive at that path as it is very steep from the main road. The wifi was also having issues at times and was intermittently restarting. The shower pressure was very slow and hardly could be used. In short there were many issues for a stay like this. If these things can be worked upon then the stay could be better for future visitors.

The view and the apartment was amazing! The restaurant underneath is just fantastic, totally recommend this place!

The location is perfect, and that is what you are paying the high price for I guess. The apartment was spacious and it was useful to have the kitchen and balcony.

-We booked the apartment based on the fact that there was free private parking available - there wasn't. We had to pay 5 EUR per day for a small carpark up the hill or wait to find space on the main street. The description is misleading, so bear that in mind if you're planning on driving here. I kept asking about the parking but it never got resolved. -The AC unit is located in the hallway, no air got through to the bedrooms so it was absolutely boiling at night. It's impossible to open the windows because of the noise from the taverna downstairs & mosquitos. I requested a fan, but didn't receive a reply. -The apartment got cleaned/change of towels & sheets after 7 days. Again, requested it earlier but received no response. Had to go to taverna and ask in person and then an elderly lady from the kitchen said she would do it and then I felt guilty :D -The beds are extremely uncomfortable & very hard. - We got 2 toilet rolls for 3 people for 2 weeks. It's tough to have so many negatives because it really isn't a bad apartment and the location is perfect. The hosts are also very friendly when you meet them in person. However, it's my assumption they are just so busy with the taverna (they really do work all day/every day) that they have no time for this apartment, which is understandable, but then they should hire an outside agency to deal with it, because I didn't get replies back and always had to go in person, and then you feel bad because they are so busy working. There are small things that could make this place great, like an AC unit in the bedrooms or even a fan would help, new mattresses and some toiletries etc. We paid almost 4000 EUR for this place for two weeks, and I honestly feel like we were cheated a bit. No parking, no AC, lack of communication, not enough cleaning - I wouldn't stay here again based upon that.
