Margate Seaside Haven With 2 Terraces Sleeps 4

The location is great and the sea view from the balcony wonderful

The WiFi was not working and out of 5 wall heaters only 2 were working but not the ones that would be useful the sitting room and the main bedroom. Sat wearing outdoor coats in the evening. We did WhatsApp the owners but were ignored. There was no information pack so no instructions on how to use things or what to do regarding rubbish etc. The kitchen was poorly equipped even though it was described as well equipped. I had to scrub the pots and pans before I could use them. No wine glasses or scissors. The knives were blunt and no knife sharpener. Only one small tea towel and no oven gloves. There was a freezer but it was unusable as it was smashed up inside. No mat in the shower so we couldn't use it as it was too slippery. The place was generally shabby and grubby, the toilet was black under the rim. The entrance hall and stairs were filthy. Basically this is being advertised and priced as luxury accommodation but is more like cheap accommodation you would expect to find on a value holiday park.

Literally beachfront and we enjoyed our stay there

The people who are staying upstairs are very noisy, we can hear their footsteps so loud.
