The Nicholas George's King Suite- Walk to King

The king bed was really comfortable, nice size room. Liked the location in the historic district as well.

No breakfast was provided as there was a snowstorm when we stayed and their vendor was not available. There were some snacks and drinks provided which we appreciated. Unfortunately some of the fruit was rotting and should have been disposed of sooner.

There was no room cleaning while we were there and the staff were offsite which was a little odd, though they were available by phone. The stairs were very icy and it would have been better if the hotel staff had salted the stairs.

Location close to downtown and many bars and restaurants. The story of the house was interesting and the renovation was beautiful and tasteful. Bed was very comfortable. I'm sure we would have enjoyed the day pass to the adjacent facilities and the pool if we had stayed longer.

Entry into the room was difficult. The lock mechanism was tricky and we received no instructions on how to enter prior to our arrival. We had to call to have someone give us the code. We also never saw any staff on sight. The downstairs office area was locked with packages sitting outside the door during our entire visit. Also, on a funnier note, that 3rd floor balcony is a little tricky to walk on after a couple cocktails.
