City View Spacious 2 Bed Apartment 2 Bathrooms

I like the location a lot, perfect for walking to the centre. View was nice and had more than I needed. It was pricey for me because I was alone and needed a place to stay last minute, but if you can share this with more guests its a good option.

Elevator was down so walking up the 6th floor after a few pints was a workout. But I assume this will be fixed je the near future.

The check in process was very easy. The location of the lock box was easier to find than I thought it would be after reading the instructions. The host was great and I was able to organise a late check out which was really great for us. The location of the apartment is fantastic very close to Salford Central Station, Tesco's Express is a stone throw away and Manchester is a steady stroll away.

The paint work is a little tired but this is to be expected from an apartment that is regularly used and it certainly didn't spoil our stay. It would be handy to have a wardrobe, there are hangers but nowhere to really hang clothes. Again just thought I would mention this but certainly didn't take away from amazing stay we had.

The property is really run down and not as described. The heaters are falling off the walls, there are no coffee making facilities except for instant, the hall lights are so dim, it's dark when you enter. It's very dangerous going from the apartment to the corridor at night as it's completely dark in the apartment (with the bad lighting) and the hallway lights don't activate until you are around the corner. The shower in the ensuite kept clogging up, the blankets and cushions in the living room were ripped. The bedrooms had no hanging space and both sets of drawers were full of pillows. Over all, it needs lots of work. It was cheap, it's a great location but they've really let it go!

Beside rail station can be a bit noisy with windows open. Small bit of decorative work needed.

The situation of the flat was ideal if you want to spend time in the city centre. It is next to a train station and being in the city centre means that you hear lots of sirens and trains throughout the day.

It took us a while to find the keys to the flat since we didn't received any pictures, just the written instructions. I contacted the host but they didn't answer the phone. When we entered the flat the lights didn't work, I'll say half of the lights of the flat don't work at all. When taking a look to the space we really liked the chairs, one of them unfortunately was broken. One of the windows of the living room doesn't open, and the other one opens all the time, so we had to put the sofa in front of it to stop it from opening with the wind. The TV stand is slightly broken too, one of the mattress bed is also broken, so if you sit or lie down in the bed you sink a lot. The other mattress in the other room is just as awful, really old and you can feel its springs, so is very uncomfortable. The blind of the ensuite room is just full of vomit, so the people sleeping there had to leave it up all the time since it was pretty disgusting. There is a blind in the living room that is missing as well. The cleanliness of the space is quite disappointing, I kept finding clothe tags around, an English flag and one of the chest of drawers of one room had every drawer with stuff from previous people, included an empty bottle of vodka and a used tissue. The flat offers streaming services but in reality it doesn't, the TV asks for a pin to use the apps, which we didn't have; I asked the host for it but received no answer. The shower head in the main toilet is slightly broken, so it splashes a lot of water around. There was useful things from previous people, like salt, gel, and stuff like that. Overall it was very disappointing and really sad to see such a nice flat being taken cared of so badly. I personally think that it would be better taken cared of if it was rented, but obviously you end up making more money this way since the situation is so handy, and leaving it so poorly maybe doesn't make any difference.

Size of the apartment.

There were no fans no air conditioned. Extremely suffocation & hot apartment. Called the owner so many times to provide the Fan at least but he does not respond. Moreover there was no curtain only see through white blinds & the whole apartment got lit up by morning about 5:00 am & after that you can not sleep. Plus there was railway station in the immediate vicinity & all the time huge noises. Wifi password being provided by the owner was not accurate. No light at the entrance of the apartment & give a scary impression. Overall extremely disappointing experience.

The kitchen had all we needed. The bathrooms were clean.

The beds from the bedroom were extremly bad - I had the feeling that the springs would enter me!! Both the mattresses were much more damaged on the left side. I have slept horribly. The windows blinds and the windows were dirty.

Location was very good, description of facilities was accurate, nothing from the description was missing, communication was ok.

I wish it was more clean and that the towels were maybe not so many but better instead.
