Groovy Funhouse Getaway - 4 bdrm near Legoland

We arrived and thought the inside was neat and full of creative ideas.

Unfortunately, after getting settled in we realized there was no running water on site. We were offered to shower at a different property and to "enjoy" the amenities of the original reserved home. The second home was not complete, but water was running. Owners were nice and did their best to accommodate under the circumstances of them being out of town on vacation themselves.

The house was very warm , and my grandkids had plenty to keep them busy! The boys really loved it. I will greatly recommend this well decorated groovy place. The pool was too cute!!!

The hot tub or whatever it was the water was disgusting. I had to bathe my granddaughter immediately! Smelled pretty bad. The grass needed cut bad, but they did cut it while we were out. The chicken, cats, and dogs running around the yard were a big turn-off. Also it looked like a rough neighborhood as we were driving down the road looking for the house. Once we got inside, it was nice. It was nice to be close to Legoland. The house was nice and clean. We were very happy that we brought our own coffee maker because the kureg didn't cut it for our group. Also, the tap water shouldn't be used for coffee.

The house inside was great! The inside rooms were comfortable and so fun to be in with all the decorations - the very first room In the house used to be a garage, and it was very hot in there.

The outside area was not kept at all. Some of the The miniature golf area had mold, the little pool had dead bugs inside and the basketball game was not working.

I really wanted to enjoy this stay, but it ended up being one of the most stressful experiences I’ve had through a booking platform. We discovered a flea infestation in the home, which left my daughter covered in bites and unable to attend school the next day. It was upsetting, unsanitary, and something no guest should ever have to deal with. What made things worse was how the host responded—not with concern or accountability, but with suspicion. Instead of an apology or effort to make things right, I was met with defensive questions and ultimately blamed for the issue, despite the fact that we followed all house rules and brought no pets. I reported the problem immediately and even sent photos of the bites. To be accused of causing it, without any evidence, felt deeply unfair and insulting. I say this as someone who also hosts short-term rentals: this is not how you treat guests. I was open to resolving this privately and respectfully, but that openness was met with blame rather than accountability. The space might be fine under normal circumstances, but if anything goes wrong, you may not find much support. I wouldn’t stay here again, and I hope others think twice before booking.

The house was very clean and large enough for our family.

The back yard was nice but the rocks in the yard. You and the kids had to have shoes on to go outside.
