We had a wonderful stay at this lovely Oxford home. The location was perfect—peaceful yet well-connected—which made all the difference during my week-long course at Oxford Brookes University. It was the ideal base: quiet, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped for a longer stay. We truly appreciated how easy it was to settle in and feel at home. Would happily return!

The bedroom was huge and had an American King sized bed. There was plenty of room for opening suitcases and space to hang up clothes. The kitchen has a clothes washer which we used several times. A drying rack was also provided. There was an espresso machine and many pantry staples provided. The decor was pleasing! The owners provided a hairdryer and several plug in adapters. There also is a router with free Wi-Fi. The flat was near two bus stops, a couple of coffee shops, and a pub. We traveled a lot and this was a great home base. We really liked the location. We got more of a local experience rather than a touristy hotel experience.

The most surprising was there was not a TV at the property. Bring an iPad or device if you like to watch shows. I was looking forward to sitting in the garden to have coffee in the morning but it has not been kept up with. There were plastic bags that had blown in and weeds were taking over. It didn’t look like the pictures. You will need to hand wash all your dishes.

The place was very clean and tidy, with everything we needed provided. The bed was large and super comfortable, and the bedroom was spacious. Communication with the host was excellent and very smooth.

The only downside was noise from the upstairs neighbours. Otherwise, everything else was perfect, and I’d recommend it for a comfortable stay!
