SAZAI greatly enjoyed my stay at Mount Carmel. Melanie (host) was extremely welcoming, helpful, and kind. I unexpectedly arrived early in Cape Town and Melanie was immediately willing to allow me to check in a bit earlier than planned. The studio apartment is safe and secure, beautiful, well-designed (compact yet cozy and functional), extremely clean, very comfortable and calming, and has everything you need for either a short or longer stay. There is a great desk (as well as another table) in case you need to get some work done, super fast and reliable wifi, and loads of cupboard space. The little terrace outside is also lovely, private, secure, and has some beautiful moon flower bushes and other plants which make it feel like your own calming little sanctuary. I would definitely recommend Mount Carmel, especially for solo travellers, and would definitely come back!
ZAAll the facilities were a cut-above the rest. The accommodation was absolutely 5 Star. Will recommend too anybody. Very safe area and close to restaurants and other amenities.
