The property started off great, but unfortunately, the last two days of our stay were extremely disappointing. We were abruptly woken up by loud banging and drilling right outside our door—without any prior warning. The noise was so unbearable on the first day that we had to leave the apartment just to get some peace. I reached out to the managing agents, but their response was very slow. Despite asking whether the construction would continue, the drilling resumed early the next morning with no notice. I informed them that we’d be leaving and requested a refund, but they instead offered to move us—though even that took far too long to arrange. When we were finally relocated, the new place was in terrible condition. We were greeted by dead cockroaches throughout the apartment, and there was a strong chemical smell that made the space feel unsafe. We were too exhausted to move again, but the fumes were concerning and the overall condition was unacceptable. A real shame, because this could have been a great stay. Sadly, the lack of communication and poor handling of the situation really soured the experience
ZAThe property was in a quiet surburb which is what we wanted.
Found the geyser had burst and it was never replaced in the 4 days that we were there. The tvs in the bedrooms were not functional. The property had a stinch smell to it.
ZAApartment was clean, accommodation was spacious and well stocked with basics. Apartment was furnished well and had a beachy vibe. Location was excellent to nearby beaches and restuarants.
Front door gate was tricky to open once locked.
ZAZAThe bathrooms were clean - that was a huge plus after seeing the condition of the kitchen stuff.
The pots, pans, utensils and cups were dirty. We had to go out and buy paper plates and cups to use. The ad said its meters from the beach - there was no beach close to where we stayed. The stairs were a nightmare to climb with our luggage and groceries. The parking was on the other side of where we stayed. The one said don't pay the deposit, the other says pay - very confusing and was not sure if we were been scammed. The beds in the loft was like sleeping on a rock.
