The managers of this property caused us huge amounts of grief the morning we were getting on the plane to come to Auckland. Only advising that day that they needed a $500 deposit. It felt very much like a scam. To ask for $500 on the morning of your arrival sounded ludicrous. When you are going away you budget and pay for things like flights and accomodation well in advance. Why is this not clearer on your site? Why is it not charged at the same time as booking? With no other accomodation booked and out of options we paid the $500. It has been now credited but it was extra stress we didn’t need. The apartment was so small it was laughable. The photos were certainly deceiving. All in all, we will not be back
