4 Bedroom house with parking, Near Safari Park

It’s a lovely big house in a nice area. The location for us was fantastic as we came down from Halifax to visit the safari park; which was approximately 15 minutes away from where we were staying. There is an Aldi and a Morrisons a short drive away, which again was ideal. The garden is massive and well maintained. Our kids loved the trampoline and the swing.

Unfortunately the cleanliness we felt wasn’t up to scratch. The living room, office space and bedrooms were clean and tidy. The kitchen was tidy but the cooker and the worktops could use some attention and the 1st floor bathroom definitely hadn’t been cleaned after a previous guest; there was residue around the bath which I assumed was shower gel, little dead flies and quite a few hairs. There was streaks and splashes of what I imagine is toothpaste on the mirrored cabinet above and the toilet could use some bleach down it. I think there just lacks an attention to detail. It’s a shame as the house is lovely and we did enjoy our stay!

Easy to find, plenty of parking and the owner was contactable for any queries. There were no problems with the lovely accommodation and we had a very comfortable stay.

The only thing we couldn't find was a pizza tray or good baking trays on the one occasion we looked for them.

From when we pulled up in drive it was beautiful, inside is also beautiful there was nothing we needed when we went there just a take away 😉 i would 100% go back

Fresh lick of paint in places would be good 😁 altho very clean just the decorating is unfinished, but im a decorator so its just me being picky

Spacious property with all mod cons

Immaculate House, with a big garden to play all sorts of ball games, ample parking space on the driveway and great host. Perfect location in terms of travel to the West Midlands safari park !
