Bungalow on the beach 15 minutes from Valencia

Alojamiento muy lindo, limpio, cómodo y bien ubicado. A pocos pasos de la playa. Anfitriones siempre pendientes.

Good location, but serious issues made our stay disappointing We stayed here for two weeks as a family with young children. The location is genuinely lovely — literally on the beach, and the sea views from the terrace are beautiful. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. There were several serious issues that made our stay stressful and disappointing: • Misleading information: The listing advertised a swimming pool ( actually two swimming pools ) open from 31 May — a key reason why we chose this property. In reality, it was only open on Saturday and Sunday and was closed otherwise . If we had known the pool WOULD NOT be available, we would not have booked this accommodation. • Poor maintenance: The property is in need of urgent repairs. Doors, fittings, and various parts of the house felt worn down or broken. It’s clear the place hasn’t been properly maintained for a while. • Hygiene concerns: There was a cockroach problem during our stay, which is simply unacceptable for any holiday rentals, particularly with young kids. It felt like no proper pest control measures were in place. • Lack of responsibility from host and extremely unpleasant to deal with. We flagged the issues, but the host showed no real accountability and was very dismissive.

As per above. This was meant to be our annual summer holiday — a time to relax and disconnect — but instead, we ended up feeling frustrated and let down. The location has potential, but the property should not be listed in its current state. It needs proper maintenance, pest control, and above all, a more honest and responsible approach to hosting.

The townhouse was very comfortable and had plenty of room. It has nice furniture and a well stocked kitchen. It was nice to have parking included (although it was tight and took time to pull out because of people parked on the street and the angle.) They had a nice bowl of fruit on the table we enjoyed.

These issues were minor and I would stay here again: We were only given 4 bath towels for 5 people for four nights. There wasn't enough toilet paper so we had to buy some. When I contacted the property manager, he responded two days later and said they gave us lots of towels and didn't comment on the toilet paper. The home was clean except for the floors which looked clean but my socks got quite dirty from walking on the floor.
