This Chalet is in a wonderful spot. It's quiet and peaceful with a view to open fields with a horse grazing. You can sit on the Veranda or at the kitchen table and enjoy that tranquil setting. The Chalet is spotless and modern. A good size kitchen with everything you need, including dishwasher, microwave, oven etc. You can even have a BBQ outside. The bedrooms have New beds and the furniture is in general of a very high quality. We loved it here and would love ro come back! Thank you Jo and family for being such wonderful hosts!

"Lovely little break at the Chicken Run"

10.0

Lovely cosy place, exceptionally clean and very comfy. Our 1 year old lived the view of the adjacent field with all the wildlife and a friendly horse that kept coming to say hello. Nice and near to looks of lovely pubs, Camber Sands and we took plenty of trips to Rye which is just a short drive away. Jo the host was lovely.

"Fantastic - stay here."

10.0

A fantastic option for staying in the Rye area. We have stayed in a lot of Airbnbs, hotels and pub b&bs in the area over the last few years and this is hands-down the best. The cabin is supremely comfortable, warm and well appointed. The host Jo made us incredibly welcome, even immediately providing toys for our two four year olds. She had also decorated it for Christmas, making it feel even more homely. The place is perfect for families (w. up to 2 kids) given the twin room, sitting room and outdoor space for kids to roam around. The kitchen has everything you'd want, including oven, microwave and dishwasher, with a nice set of crockery and equipment. There is also an entry hallway, which is great for keeping muddy boots and wet coats in, without having to take them into the house. The beds were very comfortable, with high quality bed linen and towels, giving the place a premium feel. There is a balcony with outdoor furniture which would be lovely in the summer for sundowners, overlooking the fields with horses in. This place is an absolute must when staying in the Rye area. We will definitely be staying again.

Internet would be helpful to make full use of the smart TV - but that there is no internet is clearly indicated on the listing, so it wasn't a surprise. For longer stays/families, a washer-dryer would be a useful addition.
