Barry Waterfront Stays - ENTIRE 3 BED PROPERTY

Lovely house in the brand new development around the Barry Docks. It's a short walk (600m ish) from Barry Dock train station, allowing easy access to Barry and Barry Island with regular and cheap trains. Anna the host was really helpful. The house was clean comfortable and ideal for our needs, attending a local event over a weekend.

Beautiful property very clean, super easy to get in touch with the owners, breakfast and tea an coffee was supplied which was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and will be back in the future.

The only thing I could say was there was no butter for the crumpets it’s the only thing I can say as everything else was perfect.

A nice variety of breakfast cereal, bread for toast - everything we needed. Tea, coffee etc were all available.

Simply that it was difficult to find. When we were able to contact the hosts we were given really clear instructions so it was fine.

The host Anna gave amazing communication on the lead up to the stay, right up to the our arrival. As we were arriving later in the evening we had a key code to access the keys to let ourselves in. The property was easy to find with google maps, and the property was immaculate and very new. Kitchen was well stocked with crockery and cutlery and cooking facilities including microwave, there was also a dishwasher (we didnt use much in the way of the crockery so handwashed). A brilliant selection of cereals, bread, milk was provided also, as well as a fab selection of hot drink options. Clean downstairs toilet, and a spacious lounge/dining area with a comfy sofa. PLENTY of plug sockets throughout the property too. Upstairs consisted of 3 bedrooms, a single room, a small double and a double room. We used the main room and our little one stayed in the single room. Bathroom was spacious and very clean. Anna checked in to make sure everything was ok as well during our stay. A lovely touch by our host, she knew from our notes that it was our sons birthday during our stay, and she vey kindly put up some balloons with his age on and left a little gift for him, it was the perfect start to our little getaway birthday trip. A very easy walk to the train station too which was great for us. In the lounge there is a cabinet with some reading material, and some leaflets of things to do nearby, in addition to some recommended takeaway options. Brilliant 10 min drive from Barry Island, and there is even recommended parking areas listed in the property by the hosts. At the end of our stay we touched base with Anna to confirm that we were leaving, and she wished us a fab onward journey, and a lovely touch confirming how the weather was going to hold for our afternoon at the beach. HIGHLY recommend, and will definitely look to stay here again on our next trip to Cardiff/Barry.

Not the responsibility of the host! Must stress that! The development is still very new which means the roads arent completely finished. Just be mindful how you go due to some uneveness in the roads. Aside from this everything was perfect.

It was home from home with everything we needed for a few nights away visiting family.

Weather was v wet but we made the most of it
