The unit was well maintained. Very comfortable. Some nice touches. . . Even had a jug of iced water waiting for us upon arrival. The views at night were amazing.

Very special setup- feels like camping, but in a very luxurious way

Nothing- if you have heavy luggage, it can be a bit tricky to bring your stuff to the room. But they are providing special little carriers to help with that

Beautiful, well-appointed A-frame. Full kitchen, bath a living area. New, comfy bed with killer views. Both covered and uncovered decks, with hammock and private fire pit. Close to Big Bend west entrance

The location is 5 months drive from the Big Bend NP’s entrance. The dimmed light policy really allow for great night sky views.

Seems like it was well constructed. Was pretty new, so everything was really clean and nice, including bedding and towels, plates, silverware, pots and pans. It had everything we could’ve wanted, including a fire pit with lighter and fluid, patio with furniture and operable canopy, hammock, complete (small) kitchen with all appliances, condiments, tea and coffee, tv, games, table and chairs, sitting area, soap and shampoo….etc. The access system to the property was easy and worked well. Great community game room and shared bbq area and luggage carts. Really was nothing that we didn’t like. Small complaint that we had to make up the sofa sleeper, but was not a problem at all; all clean bedding was right there. Bathroom is very small, but it works with good design.

The one thing we didn’t like was the road noise and nighttime headlights from passing vehicles while sitting by the fire and enjoying the stars, (which are awesome).

Super clean and had all the amenities. Best place in Terlingua to stay as it’s close to the national park.

I’m pretty easy going but this place really didn’t have any faults.
