"Place has potential, but rough around edges - maintenance needed to fix water damage in roof & smell"

Fantastic location, really nice garden and seating area outside, amazing facilities in the complex

There was water damage in in the ceiling, from a leak in the roof - the whole apartment smelled bad and musty because of it - the indoor air quality was unhealthy. There were also cockroaches. Almost every day some new ones had appeared in the night. There were poisons used in the property, because in the morning the cockroaches would all be dead - on one of the days there were at least 7 dead cockroaches. I tried to alert the host on watsapp to the cockroaches and bad smell from water damage but got no reply.
