Casa di Calma & Casa di Luce Rhodes Apartments

We stayed in Casa di Calma for 7 nights and found it quiet, spacious and well equipped. There is a washing machine and clothes line, iron and ironing board which proved very useful for a week long stay. The owners were responsive and helpful when we had unexpected issues to deal with. There is a private balcony overlooking trees where it’s lovely to have your morning coffee or early evening drink. The location is great with a Nordic bakery (Bakeriet) 5 minutes walk away, and one can enter the old town on foot in 10 minutes via the St John’s gate on the south side. A 20 minute walk east gets you to Zephyrs Beach, and 40 minutes walking northwest you can be at Ellie Beach. The bus to Lindos takes 90 minutes, and there is bus stop 15 minutes away.

We spent 10 days in Rhodes and had a wonderful stay in Maria's apartment. Everything was very clean and there was everything you need for everyday life on the island. The balcony in the shade and the air conditioning provided a welcome cooling after a hot day. The apartment was also in a great location. Supermarkets, ice cream stores, bakeries, the local market and beaches, which could be reached in 5 minutes by bus, were close by and easy to reach on foot. And for all cat lovers, there are more than enough cats in the area who are very happy if you feed them during your stay. If you had any questions, you could always get in touch with the friendly owner. We felt at home and are sad to have to leave the island already. But we would come back anytime! The apartment is located relatively close to Old Town and Elli beach with a short easy walk to both locations. The apartment is spacious and very clean with comfortable beds.

The building is surrounded by cats that are cared for by the residents but i would not recommend this location to any one that may have allergies to cats. Its also a bit difficult to get taxis to come/ go from the property directly as it's located on a narrow street but taxi drivers were still willing to drop us off on the main street right next to the property.

Tiszta, tágas, jól felszerelt apartman. A központi rész könnyen megközelíthető. Pékség és bolt pár sarokra. Nyugodt, csendes környék.

Több nap is előfordult, hogy estére a melegvíz kifogyott a házban. Korán kellett fürdeni, hogy biztosan legyen. Reggel viszont egyik reggel sem volt meleg víz.

la posizione è davvero comoda: il centro storico si raggiunge facilmente a piedi in circa 15 minuti. perfetto per chi vuole esplorare la città senza usare mezzi di trasporto. inoltre i letti erano comodi e l’ambiente silenzioso. proprietario/gestore gentile e disponibile.

The location is close to the old town but in a quiet street far from any noise. We felt like home and would stay again once we come back to Rhodes island.

Not enough knifes and kitchen equipment. The GPS location is not correct and is not easy to find the place.
