Stylish modern 2 bed apartment in Shaka's Rock

Very nice apartment in a great location but just lacking in small comforts.

It would have been much easier if we were given the code to the lock box instead of trying to reach the Helper on the intercom/camera to fetch keys - she could not hear or see as it does not work properly. The only contact number was in London and it was difficult to make contact! The central cooling system does not work which is a problem and thank goodness for the fans in the rooms as the balcony door from main bedroom is difficult to slide and too hot anyway. 1 tiny whisky glass and 1 champage glass only!! No hairdryer. No soap in either dispenser in the main en suite. Would recommend the owner use Beach Holiday's KZN to manage the apartment as their offices are right there and very convenient and they answer their phones.

Comfortable and private

WiFi never worked; what an inconvenience.

The amenities are great and the cleanliness was really good. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay for a family of 4. Very close to Salt cafe and the beach.

No complaints regarding the unit at all. The only thing that was not great was other guests in the complex. They were misbehaving terribly and this did put a damper on our stay.

The apartment is perfect for a holiday. Everything you need is in the apartment.

There should be more drinking glasses (there was only one glass to drink cold drink, the rest are wine or gin glasses).

The apartment was clean and neat and met our expectations. Close to the beach and amenities. An extra remote would have been good because the one we had was faulty and did not work at times. The light and plug switch at the braai was not working but we only realized that late at night so did not want to message Eunice. Maybe an extra torch / light just for that purpose would be nice. Thankyou for the stay we enjoyed our self immensely.
