We stayed at Mungi Bay and it was, without a doubt, one of the best holiday rentals we’ve ever experienced. The apartment itself is incredibly spacious and packed with thoughtful touches — the kitchen is probably the most well-stocked we’ve seen, with every utensil, spice, and gadget you might need, making it feel like a true home away from home. But the real magic? The rooftop terrace. It offers breathtaking views of Taormina and the sea, and it’s the perfect place to relax, enjoy a glass of wine, grill something on the barbecue, or simply watch the sun rise in peace. We genuinely believe it’s the best view in Giardini Naxos. Location-wise, it’s spot on — 3 minutes to the beach, yet set far enough back that it’s perfectly quiet at night. Shops and cafés are within easy reach, and you’re a short walk from both the bus and train stations, making day trips super easy. Parking was also surprisingly convenient; we always found a free spot nearby. And finally, a special mention goes to the host, who was truly exceptional — always available, kind, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We’ve never had such a pleasant experience with a host before. If you’re visiting the area, don’t think twice. Mungi Bay is a rare find — peaceful, perfectly located, and unforgettable. We’ll be back!

Very confortable flat , beds and pillows. Also the shower is very good. The owner very gentle, and left useful basic things for the kitchen as detergent,oil, sugar, coffee. We appreciate that. Very good location 13 minutes to Taormina by car and 5 min to taormina's beach .

The view is amazing, the host is so helpful and kind and the flat itself is just nice :)

The location, the view, the appartment is clean and beautiful

The accommodation has a good location, very close to Lungomare in Giardini Naxos, but also close to public transportation leading to Taormina or Catania. All rooms are spacious, have plenty of light, and are clean. On the top of the building, there is a very large terrace that can be used and offers a view of the sea and part of Taormina, which we liked. The host is extremely kind and helpful.

The electrical wiring in the apartment is very poorly arranged, and every time we tried to use the oven, the circuit breaker would trip, causing both electricity and water to go out. The owner was extremely kind and wanted to fix the oven, but since it wasn't the fault of the oven but rather improperly connected electricity, we ended up without an oven, meaning we couldn't use it in the end. Since we booked accommodation for two adults and a seven-year-old child, we expected a double bed and an additional bed or sofa for the child. Owner offered to put a baby crib in our room, which we declined because we assumed there was a sofa bed in the guest room which can be used for sleeping. Our child is 7 years old and no longer sleeps with us in the room, especially not in a baby crib he outgrew long ago. In the end, we only got one double bed and a sofa in the living room that was not for sleeping because it couldn't be pulled out and wasn't comfortable for sleeping, nor was there bedding for that sofa.

Great apartment, good location and very helpful hosts.

The location was excellent. A short walk to the local beach, supermarkets and restaurants. The apartment has access to the roof terrace which was very pleasant to have an evening meal.

The shower was quite awkward to use as the standing area had two quite small levels.

The flat was sparkling clean. It has all necessities. Nice view from the bedroom. The communication was also great!

The new iron is required ( I burnt a new dress :(

The host was very lovely, excellent location, very close to the beach. Taormina was easily accessible by bus. Multiple grocery stores were by walking distance.

AC could not be regulated, it was too cold at night. Perhaps a microwave would have been nice.
