Modern 3 Bedroom House, Free Parking in Oxford

Exceptionally clean and comfortable.

Shower door broken. Fire door hinge loose resulting in door sticking. Some neighbour noise from adjacent property.

The property was clean and tidy and had all facilities on offer including soaps and toiletries

The toilet seat to the main bathroom was broken, however this was not evident until used so the owner was probably not aware. It would have been nice if the grass to the front and rear had been tended to prior to our arrival.

The place was a very good size with multiple bathrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed to make dinner and breakfast so no complaints.

The property is well located for access to the city, Park and Ride and also to other areas of Oxfordshire. There is a small shop within walking distance and also a cinema and restaurant and bar. The sheets and towels were clean and it was nice to be provided with some toiletries. There was also ample toilet paper and kitchen roll left which was great.

There were a number of issues with the property. The most obvious one has to be that the sofa does not seat 5 people, disappointing when the house sleeps 5. The cleaning of the property was not very good, particularly the shower enclosure which was dirty. Other areas had not been touched, including one of the cooking pans which was greasy. Two other trays were losing their non stick coating which is a health hazard. Some of the frying pans would only work on particular rings on the hob. Overall the general finish of the property was lacking, not enough attention to detail.

Excellent location everything as described. Lovely house in quiet location. Beds were very comfortable and the house had everything we needed. Host was very responsive and accommodating.

Parking available on a grass drive, a real.bonus in oxford Location was perfect for family we were visiting, in.terms of oxford centre its probably 45mins in total walk and bus, we got a cab back for around £10 Owners attentive, responded extremely promptly to questions, Pictures give a good idea of what property is like. Kitchen, pans etc sufficient for us to cook both days we stayed which made the accomodation very cost effective Heating lovely and warm. All.in all pleased with our stay, as expected

There is an annex to the house which is rented separately and joined to the property by a locked door in the kitchen. When we arrived we could see the other property through the lounge window, became aware it was behind the door in the kitchen. This felt somewhat strange as we had expected sole occupation of a house, it was fine and we eventually understood but a little more information about the set up upfront would of eased confusion/ uncomfortableness. Beds, bedding not super comfty but fairly typical for holiday lets. Shower could of been cleaned better. Only 4 dining chairs, sofa not big enough for 5 either, mismatched with number of beds but was fine for us Cutlery somewhat lacking for a large house with a dishhwasher
