Clean, tidy and a decent size

The sofa bed was not suitable for sleeping on and not comfortable to sit on. I didn’t notice the additional damage waiver fee when booking, so this was a surprise after booking.

Very convenient location and excellent internal standards in the accommodation. Hosts were very informative and helpful in advance of checking in.

The apartment is a few doors down from Foregate St station. It is extremely clean and looks recently refurbished. Fab bathroom! The hosts checked with us regularly that everything was going well with our stay and encouraged us to contact them if there were any problems or issues. There is a cafe The Junction a few doors away which has an extensive breakfast menu, food was v good.

The building is very quiet. A bit of noise from the high street and especially at night, but to be expected with it being in the town centre. Very comfortable bed, great location with all the stores and train station nearby. Clean apartment and friendly staff. Everything appeared to be new in the apartment. Over all a very pleasant stay but with the washing machine being outside of the apartment, I would sadly not stay again. Nothing in the listing is mentioned about the communal washing machine.

The biggest problem for me was the advertised washing machine was a communal washing machine in a laundry room on a different floor. I never knew until I arrived. The washing machine was shared with 4 other apartments. Twice I went to use the washing machine and it was occupied. Including my last day there (the other residents don’t collect their clothes when the load has ended) which resulted in me having to take all my dirty clothes with me the day I checked out and travel back home with them. The lights in the hallways have motion sensors. They were flashing constantly like it was a disco night club. I don’t know why anyone would install such lights inside an apartment!! Even just walking around in the living room would set the lights off in the hallway. The noisy street cleaner machine starts at 6:00 AM during the week and at 5:20 AM on Sundays. No elevator which was a bit of a challenge with all my luggage. A bathroom shelf in the bathroom would have been nice. The apartment is a bit small but was fine for me only. There are no curtains to block out the sunlight in the bedroom. It was very hard to open the window in the bedroom with the massive heavy bed being in the way and the windows being old.

Maybe a bin bag for the rubbish would have been good and it took a little while to get used to the automatic lights going on and off in the hallway. The sofa wasn't the most comfortable ever.
