The Tack Room - rural boutique retreat for two

Nice accommodation in stylish annexe conversion. Well equipped for a short stay. Great location for exploring South Downs.

Being picky, the kitchen cupboard doors could do with a clean.

Very peaceful location and everything you need for a weekend stay. Ideally located not far from Arundel and the coast with plenty of local walks

We went away for the weekend as a mini honeymoon. The Tack Room was cosy, warm and a delightful stay. Lots of information given in the local area and we would highly recommend a visit to Arundel and the Castle! The Tack Room is a very clean place, lovely location and great facilities. We didn’t need to contact the host during our stay but all communications beforehand were polite and informative x

The property was spacious and very clean. It was convenient to have the electronic gate code to the property and being able to self-check in. The driveway space was very handy and spacious. Hosts were lovely and barely even saw them on the shared driveway! Bed was comfy, as was the sofa for lounging. Amenities were great, especially the kitchen amenities. Very thoughtful hosts, including chocolates on towels, thorough instructions prior to arrival, and a welcomed information book including things around the area! The local area was lovely, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would recommend to those looking to stay in the area in a nice, quiet, and spacious property.

Although instructed by hosts that the heating was set to 20c upon arrival, we found the property quite warm on arrival. Once turning down the radiators, the property was slightly cold for the rest of our stay - due to our own personal preference and not the fault of the hosts. The price for two nights was slightly over our budget, although it was valentines weekend. Would consider not bad value for money and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Area was lovely, although driving onto the driveway was a little tight due to street parking; wasnt really an issue though.

The external decking has become a little slippy due to the recent spate of wet weather.

One light in bedroom was flicking but this did not stop us enjoying the stay
