Quinta de Raj - Your Douro Valley Retreat

The views are breathtaking. We weee greeted by Paul (the owner) who is a lovely person. Our room was big and comfortable. I love that there are 4 rooms. Make it feel private and peaceful. The pool is perfect and the hot tub was perfect for when it became a little crisp at night. I took advantage of the sauna when we got there. We felt safe and relaxed our entire stay. I will come back one (hopefully in the next 1-2 years). They offer a beautiful breakfast (what a nice touch) and the coffee is excellent. Thank you for everything Paul.

There isn’t anything to not like. My only recommendation would be to offer food to purchase (they offered and we purchased a charcuterie board and wine). The fridge was too small if people are going to bring drinks and food for a few nights. You need to drive if you want to get food.

Het is werkelijk een prachtige plek! Geweldig uitzicht en heerlijk stil. De kamers zijn super mooi , aan ieder detail is gedacht. We werden door Paul volledig in de watten gelegd! In de ochtend kregen we een heel uitgebreid hotel Ik kan het iedereen aanraden om hier te verblijven en te ontspannen.

Er zijn eigenlijk geen minpunten, maar een kleine opmerking de route omhoog best pittig. Het is rustiger om de langere route te kiezen je doet er dan 16 minuten over om boven te komen ipv 8 minuten. Maar de weg is breder en minder steil:)

O alojamento é super intimista. Muito bem decorado. Uma experiência diferente mas muito agradável.

I loved everything! The site is perfect, the infinity pool is splendid with a spectacular view over the Douro Valley. Designed with style and attention to every detail , creating a space for a memorable stay. Small boutique hotel with 4 rooms, spacious and comfortable. The owners are an adorable and friendly couple who gave us the best guidance to experience the best from the region!
