Spacious Modern 2 Bed Flat in City centre

Location was great,It is easily walking distance from town, where there's loads of food and attractions, plus there is a shop opposite which is helpful for picking up small bits. We had an issue checking in due to a previous guest causing issues and the owner was quick to give us a ring to update me despite the fact he was away on holiday, which was appreciated. Easy to find location. Perfect flat size for two couples.

Of the two bedrooms one of the double beds was one of the least comfiest beds I've ever stayed in, after an hour trying to sleep we opted to sleep on the sofa instead. Mattress in dire need of replacement. The free parking space I was provided was already occupied and we ended up having to pay £22.50 for an overnight slot at a nearby multi-storey. We were provided the wrong code for the lock-box and the cleaner was still there despite check in being a fairly late 3pm, while check out is at 10. We didn't actually manage to get in and drop the bags off until about 3.30. This was apparently due to a previous guest however so was very likely a one off. Cleanliness was a bit of an issue the apartment bins hadn't been emptied and was full of the previous guests rubbish, the sofa had quite a lot of stains and marks from food as did blankets provided. Not enough toilet paper provided, even for one night. We had to purchase more.

Property update was prompt on the app. When I raised issues, there was very quick responses.

Cleanliness was very poor with dirty towels and dirty dishes in the cupboard. No supplies - no milk, no dishwashing tablets or laundry tablets as indicated in the original message received prior to arrival.

Its a newly renovated flat situated within 10 minutes walk to the high street. The flat comes with a parking spot and a convenience store is also situated across the road making the stay very comfortable. The owner is a nice gentleman available on the phone and is ready to address any issues that you may have. I stayed with my family for a week and had a enjoyable stay at the property. Being a new property with no previous comments made me a bit unsure but it turned out to be a great decision. Book with confidence, its a nice property!! Well done OP!
