Loved our stay here! Beautiful location and right at the foot of the hills. Host was very accommodating allowing us in early just to drop off our bags before our walk and even shown us a route we weren't familiar with. Thanks for borrowing me the ice spikes :) will visit again in future.

The views and scenery were stunning. The accommodations proximity to the village and it's fantastic walks was ideal.

The drive from the cattle grid to property is close to rallycross and drivers with more pride in their vehicles may object. The stairs between the bathroom and bedroom are very steep and not for the faint hearted.

The location is excellent for access to walks in the region. The shower is clean and has plentiful hot water. The beds were very comfortable and the view from the bed was gorgeous. Nicky was easy to communicate with and was available to provide local information if needed. As outdoor loving people, we would stay there again. The walk to the village was pretty, you might prefer a car if taking back lots of food supplies. The pub in the village was excellent and there are local late opening mini-markets and a well stocked outdoor shop. It was lovely and quiet and if not raining we would have sat out by the fire pit listening to the bumbling brook nearby. Wifi mostly good connection. Very good value for money.

I did not like the sink for washing dishes being the same sink as the bathroom sink. We were fine with the steep narrow ladder-like staircase however this may be challenging if people are not aware this is the only way to access the bedroom. Plus taking luggage up and down the stairs was tricky. It may not suit very tall people.

The views in the morning were unreal, like an oil painting come to life. The place is snug but grounding and offers all the essentials to rest and relax.

Excellent communication from the host throughout and a very warm welcome on arrival. Lovely, cosy place in a stunning location. The stairs weren't an issue at all. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the views and setting, which are very special.

Track to reach the property potentially isn't great on your car.
