The hospitality of Mona & Adi - top-notch. Loved that there were 3x gorgeous and uber friendly Bernese mountain dogs, one of which joined us on a trek to Curmatura hut. Mona expertly curates and infuses traditional elements throughout the villa, giving it a soul & rich stories.

The property had almost everything we needed and more, the design is great, very beautiful rooms with restored old details and furniture, the kitchen was also well equipped, great variety of books and board games and the Christmas tree was lovely. The host was wonderful, helped with indications, prepared the fire in advance (for the mood, the house has modern heating, but the fireplace with the mountain view its a vibe), left us a home made bottle of “visinata” which was some of the best i had in years and shared secrets of all the labor put into building this place and plans for the future. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the area is quite and the village beautiful. Overall a heartwarming atmosphere, functional house and good design.

I wouldn’t say i didn’t like it, but some might consider it relevant: the bathroom only has a fixed shower head and no mobile one. For the picky ones, the driving there is bumpy and during snow, the tires need snow chains. Nostalgic might miss a coffee pot, but the property has kettle & capsule expresso machine. The kitchen sink is quite narrow and doing a lot of dishes at once is challenging. Once again, this is not a criticism, we did fine with all, but it was noted :).
