Elegant Lahinch/ Liscannor Cottage 3B 3BR

Property was warm, cosy, spotlessly clean and in a perfect location to explore Clare. A few minor improvements are needed such as a cracked toilet seat downstairs which hurt the skin if used, the toilet in the main bathroom upstairs had a note on to say not to use. We weren’t given prior notice of this and caused a bit of a headache as the en-suite toilet was the only toilet that worked so we had to keep entering the bedroom which a family member was staying in to use facilities. A number of blinds had no pull cord to open/close. Garden is not enclosed which is not an issue but wasn’t ideal for us personally as we had young kids and family dog. We had to contact the property for access details a few minutes before we arrived as we had not received any details. Overall, the property is definitely worth staying in , just a few improvements needed.

Beds were v comfortable sitting room was cosy

It was just like a home from home. Very homely and comfy. Only a ten minute walk to amenities which was great as we didn’t hire a car.

I can actually say that there wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

Asked before for key code the day before arrival but got message back will send on the day off arrival ? the morning of leaving from Offaly to house no email to confirm key box code, so had to send email to get code when on the road. The aircode on booking.com does not work on sat nav emailed to confirm aircode but no response from house owner

The house bones are great just needs TLC , no hot water Saturday for showers , heater in downstairs bathroom not working was freezing to shower and use toilet. The electric wall heaters buttons broken off or not there so could not turn heat up , the kettle the handle gets hot when boils so have to use tea towel to pick up kettle. Just TLC blind chains broke, the patio door had stains on glass was not nice to see , so kept curtains closed. The tiles in upstairs en suite cracked so uneven

Fantastic host and a fantastic property in an excellent location. If you want to see the best of County Clare, you couldn’t find a better place to stay. It felt like a home from home.
