The Palmetto House B- Walk To King Street

The property manager was great - extremely responsive via text, and when I reached out about having no wine opener or blankets, they delivered some to the door that evening, which was very kind and very much appreciated! The house was charming and authentic. The beds and the bedding were extremely comfortable!

There was a broken lamp that should have been caught before we checked in in the master bedroom; there was no wine opener and no extra blankets for the beds (this was immediately addressed by property manager as noted above). It would have been nice to have known we were on the second floor - the listing was "billed" as the whole house. Also, the severe slants in the upper bedrooms and the steps down to the bathroom on the first floor caused challenges with our elderly guests - it would have been nice to know of these things before we booked. Also, there were absolutely NO hangers in the house. Also, there are no small spoons, scissors...many normal everyday items were missing.

Our host was amazing, and the accommodations were very comfortable. We were close to everything.

We didn't have anything to clean with, so we purchased a few supplies, but everything else was good.

Loved the size of the apartment, number of rooms, number of beds. Felt like we were at home! Appliances were up to date The hosts were fantastic and extremely accommodating and quick to respond to any questions!

Maybe provide slippers to walk around Adding a water kettle/boiler in the kitchen for fast access to hot water for tea

Location, decor, privacy. Also appreciated the noise machines

The apartment was very clean and worked wonderfully for our group of four women.

It was five blocks from King St, as noted, but too far away from the area on King that we spent our time. We had to use Uber more than we would have liked. With the heat and humidity, walking an extra mile or so was too much for us.

Super cute and well appointed!! Loved it!

We wished there had been bikes on property to use to get into town, and blankets in the living room … otherwise, it was perfect!

The decor was really appealing. Loved being able to sit on the veranda with a happy hour drink .The kitchen was very well equipped and the beds and linen were of a high quality. It was an easy walk to Kings .There was a little Mexican restaurant opposite and some lovely bars and restaurants nearby .SouthBound was a great place .

Some of the fixtures need to be secured ie the door handle on bedroom door by the kitchen .But this is v minor and did not affect our stay
