GBLovely cottage for two with a sweet courtyard garden. Would be a little cramped for a family I think but there is a room with bunk beds so can sleep four. Living area is a good size and the bed very comfortable. A very nice walk to Carnforth alongside the railway line, and local walks to the bay. Windemere day trip on the trains. With good weather this is a lovely base to explore both city and country.
Kitchen very small with little work space. I would have found it annoying if staying a full week and very hard if we had children with us. If you don't do major self catering it is perfectly adequate though.
